April 1, 2009: The day is was no more a student. The day, I was ready for all the responsibilities. The day I was practically doing what I have been thinking of. The day, I started living my dreams. The day, I was a WORKING GIRL.

Although it was slow start, But First job is always special; and so do the first day……….. :)

The just-out-of-college attitude actually confuse you how to behave there in corporate world. No matter how much professionalism they teach you in B-schools, the real one can only be learnt in the real world.

Having old friends around is always a great support. It actually is you strength in corporate. The one, who have watched you in your worst conditions, is always a confidence booster in the best ones. Thanks SNEHA, who was always there, watching me being nervous, confused, scared, demoralized, then happy, excited, confident and motivated; since always………..and now in RedAlkemi also. And she was of course- “the great strength for me.” I wish she will be always……………:)

Having more friends makes you enjoy more. One day we saw a new face, joining our league; almost a month after our joining. He was very sincere, ASHISH. Then again we saw a new face in our league, whom me and sneha actually found him very CUTE. Yes ARUN. And then, here comes SUNNY- whom I found the smart guy, buy with attitude.

You keep the just-out-of-college people together, and the first thing they will do together is “Party”. We did the same. J That was 3rd of June, we sat together after small interaction and hi/hellos in training sessions.

AHH…In between we interacted with many office people. And there was a girl, sitting nearby. Very quiet and decent looking girl (mind these words for further explanation). “POOJA A smiling face of her appeared every time we happened to face her. The first time we went for lunch together was invitation from her; and then regularly we had lunch together. Which further lead to staying together in PG. She is actually a mother to all, in terms of the love, the care and the SCOLDS. The quiet looking face…………..who was that???? Pooja, I stayed with whom, is never quiet. Because she is very expressive, happy with our every smile, sad with our every frown. She is very happy with whatever makes us happy. Had I not written about her, she would have given me two slaps. ( That is her favorite thing to do). I really wish I will keep getting your scold............ :)

Coming back to two idiots…..SUNNY is usual cool, smart and active person. (Will spare him the attitude thing here. His favorite thing to do is just to ENJOY, and he makes others enjoy with him. Making them feel happy. He just enjoys the company of his good friends and is always there for them. When it comes to any party or get together, he just tries to make it as enjoyable as possible. This is where he applies all his creativity. I will like to enjoy more of his company……….. :)

ARUN, speaks less, thinks a bit less, LAUGHS A LOT. It really do not matter how much he thinks; the best part is whatever he thinks is always GOOD and POSITIVE. This is what makes him smile and laugh always and it actually makes him lit up the mood of others also. He just stands out from others in whatever he does. His calmness and coolness is actually a stress buster (for pooja mostly). But one mysterious fact about him is that he is very emotional person and very sensible also. And I wish I will have you laughing, smiling and sensible always……….. :)

SUKHJIT has been a great company, considering her matured and deep thoughts and emotions. She has provided me some great moments, one of which is my last birthday. She is obviously sensible and just cannot spare anyone her knowledge and suggestions. Always keep on sharing her knowledge and expertise being helpful. I wish you will achieve great success in her personal life also and also hope that I will keep getting your help in future……. :)

Having HARKAWAL (Sir :P ) around was no less. Very very jovial and sensible. Making us laugh most of the time. Moreover, is a wonderful motivator. He has a great sense of humor and a great sensibility to help everyone in case of stress. And yes…you always feel great when someone makes biggest commitment of his life in your presence. Thanks, HK for being there for us, your presence has been a real important thing. I wish all the very best of luck to you in your professional and personal life. I wish I will keep getting your support........ :)

KIMREET , very friendly, cool, nice, sensible, progressive and true 21st century girl. I have always seen her doing one thing: ENJOYING. The most of her creativity and management skills go into managing the fun stuff for herself and her friends. I really like the way she organize the parties and friends meets. I really really wish, I will keep having more parties and friends meets and you will keep organizing them (do involve me)…..……. :)

Ahem ahem…….SUNIL…okay okay…we know U R A Bad Boy…… but yes, he is very nice and adoring by heart. You will never be bored around him. His frank and funny attitude makes him the WANTED one. He just knows how to make everyone around him laugh and have fun. He knows how to make everyone enjoy his company. He just knows everything. I wish if I could get more jokes from this crazy man. And wish you will be this crazy always…………:)

And yes…here is the sweetest person in RedAlkemi…MEHAR. Nothing more to say about him. He just very very Sweet and really Unforgettable. I am really thankful to him. I wish all his dreams will come true……. :)

I have really enjoyed really the company of sweet and unforgettable people: Manpreet, Aashutosh, Priya, kanika, Supriti, jasmine, Nidhi, Mahisuta, Priyanka, Richa, and Adity. You all have made my time in Chandigarh unforgettable.

THANKS GUYS FOR EVERY MOMENT, EVERY TALK, EVERY JOKE, EVERY SMILE, EVERY LAUGH, EVERY SCOLD(specially for pooja), EVERY MEAL TOGETHER, EVERY WALK, EVERY BIKE AND CAR RIDE, EVERY PARTY, EVERY MEET, EVERY FIGHT, EVERY NON-CONVERSATIONAL PERIOD (that really made me realize how much I miss you), EVERY PATCH UP, EVERY FACEBOOK STATUS..AND JUST EVERYTHING………….. :) :) :) :) :)

Of Course I love You................till I find some one better

Wow…

Now this is what I call an interesting book. Definitely the most interesting book I have ever read…

I was able to complete it in just three days…and believe me; I am literally unable to come out of that world…

It’s truly a dream and fascination world….

Debashish Roy is the guy, every guy wants to be…and Avantika is the girl, like every guy want to be with….J

The stud, who has got every girl he want…and the girl, who has number of guys gone mad about her…

But finally “JAB THEY MET”, the stud does not need anyone but HER and the girl is ferociously mad about HIM…J

This as a whole is the world, where every one wants to be….

Neither am I able to come out, nor do I want to…………….

Great book written…really………..

Social Media mArketing & Rate of Return

A major medium of attracting traffic on website- Social Media Marketing is actually much more than just traffic-attracting medium. Results for SMM activities on regular basis are generally measured on the scale of traffic it generates. But a lot more beneficial thing to do is to find out a more profitable & wider view of that.

Carrying on SMM activities, we generate profitable as well as non-profitable outputs. It is better to endeavor more for profitable outputs. There are two base points for planning every business activity: COST REDUCTION and REVENUE GENERATION. Any business, build up on these two base points, heap up to more and more profits.

Men, Money and Time are three major resources allocated for social media marketing and they definitely need payback. This payback is what we call Rate of Return i.e. ROI.
ROI: Total revenue generated – total cost / total cost
And, to get proper feedback, the three major resources are required to be allocated properly. Effective appropriation and usage of these resources means to get maximum possible output from out of optimum costs incurred; this means maximum ROI.

One benefit of on-line branding is that we can easily reach our target audience. Concentrating and focusing properly on our target audience helps to solve the above given purpose. We need to be focused at our revenue centers, so that spend exactly where it needed to be spent. Applying a minimum fair cost here will generate good ROI and will show us fruitful results of SMM activities.
